Chief Judicial Magistrate
Ms. Tasnim Zohora, a member of the 3rd Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) batch (Service ID: 2008203024), was appointed Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jhalokathi on November 26, 2024. She holds an LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. from the University of Dhaka and earned a Master of Law and Development from the University of Melbourne under the Australia Awards Scholarship. Born in Faridpur, with Dhaka as her home district, Ms. Zohora has served in key judicial roles, including Assistant Judge (Faridpur), Senior Judicial Magistrate (Gazipur), Senior Assistant Judge (Khulna), and Joint District and Sessions Judge (Magura). Later, while serving as the Joint Metropolitan and Sessions Judge in Khulna, she was promoted to the position of Additional District and Sessions Judge. Prior to her current appointment as Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jhalokathi, she served as an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Khulna.
